I would argue the 145XR for the same reasons except it has MORE power (E-T/O and E-CLB anyone?), has the same sweet handling and higher speeds (both for cruise and flap extension) than the LR. Never an issue with weight restrictions whether you are flying a 30 minute ORD-SBN leg with an alternate or a 3 hour IAH-YYZ leg. Seats do suck as you approach the 2 hour mark. Otherwise, the cockpit is comfortable, if a bit loud. Sucks with/for a jumpseater, but not any worse than the 737 or CRJ. Oh yeah, dual FMS, ACARS, FADEC, blah blah blah. But I guess the XR is a pleasure only us lowly L-XJT goons get to experience.
