Shiny jet syndrome still continues to be a problem for our young ones, I admit it, I had it when i was younger which lasted a few months then i woke up and realized what i was worth.
I had SDS - Shiny Domicile Syndrome when I chose Eagle. I wanted an ORD base and knew I could get it either right away or in short timing. Turned out to be the case. As I tell others, I left my flight instructing job for this job to be able to come home - it just happened to be an airline job that was hiring at the time. I would fly a freaking metroliner if it allowed me to be based where I live.
