FWIW, in my class, six of us who had Intl heavy time were awarded the MD11and the rest of the class was awarded the 757 domestic and one 757 Int'l (SDFZ). The pilots awarded the 757s were from a variety of backgrounds - fighters, regional jets, furloughed major airlines, supplemental cargo, and military transport.

In my class at least, UPS matched your background with your aircraft.
