You are wrong. Our management tells us constantly that we must "compete" with the other carriers in our segment not only for the flying we currently do, but new flying. We cannot compete with your new lowball contract without taking concessions ourselves. Your -900 Captains will now top out at $87. Ours top out at $108. Do the math!
And to prove you're wrong, our management has already notified the l-XJT side that they intend to negotiate an "industry standard" CRJ-900 rate. Their contract stipulates binding arbitration on new aircraft rates if expedited negotiations fail. Do you not think an arbitrator will look at your abysmal rates and cram them down our throats?
