For that matter, if the Pinnacle brand ALPA property had voted down this TA, the winning ALPA property (let's call them the Mothership), would still have ultimately benefited and received profit sharing compensation, due to the removal or 140 CRJ-200s from the Mothership's balance books.
Meanwhile other ALPA properties would have reaped massive benefits from the signing of new CRJ-900 lift agreements, bringing huge seniority advancement and upgrade benefits to the winning ALPA properties, while having no obligation whatsoever to to a damn thing for the pilots at the losing ALPA property.
And yes, I am aware that the Pinnacle brand ALPA property's fleet does contain aircraft that were previously operated at the Mesa brand property, and nothing was done to help the Mesa ALPA pilots.
This industry stinks, and ALPA is not capable of doing what must be done to fix the underlying rot.
