The JCBA Section 8, Staffing, specifies that bid awards for United Airlines be Vacancy Bids, very much like the current system under which the United Pilots are familiar. The CAL Contract 02 is still in force with regards to system bids. There is no "march timeframe" for transitioning to Section 8 of the UPA.
