On the lUAL side you would be shocked at the seniority of the FO's flying to places like Sydney and Hong Kong. A lot could hold left seat on the same flight.

Depends on your priorities.

95 777 FO's vs 646 737 CA's in IAH. Plus, like someone already said, the widebody goes pretty senior in the right seat. Many can actually hold the left seat of the 777.

In LA the junior 320 Cap can't hold 747 FO

Many pilots feel that Widebody FO is more desirable because of less days total work for the same or more pay. So I'm not shocked to see that. My friends at CAL are all late 90 hires and all 777 FOs.
