sCAL Bids out

Well. IDK specifics on revenue. But I do know those comp. upgrades are 1 class. IOW, econ to business or business to first. Got to buy at least a business to get a fc upgrade. I also know that the only sUAL 757s we are keeping are the PS config. So they must be happy with the results. We will never beat VA or Jblue on costs. So we have to continue to beat them on revenue.

Not to rain on your parade, but you do know that the company is changing the configuration of the p.s. planes going forward? We are not keeping the same service that you see on United's p.s. now.
Currently there is lie-flat first, business and then all E+. Instead they are being reconfigured to a lie-flat BusinessFirst type seat I believe, some E+ and then the rest regular economy. Yes, they are expanding the number of lie-flat seats (which the company is all rah-rah-rah about as an enhancement for the premium customer), but they are reducing E+ seating and adding regular economy. More passengers with a reduction in premium seating overall.
Personally I think this is a degradation of the p.s. flights and the service those passengers have come to expect. Judging by the reactions on FlyerTalk I'd say there are plenty out there who agree. This is not your father's p.s. anymore. It's been Jefftified.

I was responding to this from you:
Prior to the merger, sUAL had more firm order A320s scheduled for delivery in 2013/2014 than sCAL had aircraft ordered for delivery during the period (737s and 787s). The deposits were paid and the sUAL orders are still on Airbus' official order page, so yes, let's play the game about expectations, retirements, and firm aircraft orders as I'm sure you would receive plenty of support from sUAL pilots.
UAL did not have more orders than CAL for delivery in 2013/2014 as you stated. Your "stacking" WB order was firmed up 3 months before the merger and are not being delivered anytime near your predicted timeframe. Everything else you mentioned happened after the merger, not prior as you originally stated.
