Are you currently working on your CFII and if so, are you going to spend another $80 for your IGI? Save your money, you don't need them! As a CFI, CFII or MEI you can teach ground without it.
This is only an observational bit of advice, no offense. I taught Instrument, PPL and CRJ ground without them. (I was a CFI, CFII, MEI)
I was employed as a Ground Instructor prior to getting my CFI and MEI, so in that context it was not worthless. I then converted the money I made as an AGI into additional ME flight time. I am also 100% debt free including my mortgage. I think my financial decisions have been pretty solid so far.
