Default Part 121, Past FAF visibility drops...

This is a question for 121 operations. You are past the FAF and the visibility goes below that required for the approach. At DH you see the required visual references, but the reported RVR is still below the published mins for the approach. Does your company policy allow you to land?

Before you answer this I encourage you to look at your manuals. My company manuals and Op Specs have prohibited a landing in this condition for a while now.

Recently, while having a conversation with a friend from a different 121 airline, he became aware of the same restriction in his manuals. He was previously not aware of it until I had him look through the books. This makes one major airline and one regional airline with this policy that I know of. I am just trying to figure out if other airlines have placed this in their manuals.
