I bet you were not furloughed during the worst recession in recent history and your health insurance doesn't reduce your take home pay by 30%. I bet you didn't spend six years, trying to stay sane in overcrowded crashpads while stressing over that $600 interest payment.

Many of us did. I'm not whining, I know I can handle anything life will throw at me. I'm smarter, more skeptical, and less receptive to bull****. Right is right, wrong is wrong, and i'm getting ready to cash in on my dues.

As a pampered product of the early 00's, you shouldn't accuse a senior RJ FO of being a whiner. Chances are that he has been beat down, hardened and learned how to deal with guys like you. You will soon fly with them.
Pampered product of the early 00's? Do you remember 9/11?! At least you have a job in the regionals with health care. Most of us were stuck flight instructing to get over 1500 TT/300 hours multi time to meet the mins for an interview at a regional. Guys rolled in with less than 1000TT/ less than 1 year as a CFI in 2006-08. We all pay dues at some point of time in our careers. Pampered.... really?! Each an every pilot here has paid their dues 1 way or another. I'm sorry you are a 6 year FO. If you counted the amount of CFI time to captain upgrade from pilots in 01-04 it would be around 6 years in their career. We all pay dues somewhere...
