I bet you were not furloughed during the worst recession in recent history and your health insurance doesn't reduce your take home pay by 30%. I bet you didn't spend six years, trying to stay sane in overcrowded crashpads while stressing over that $600 interest payment.
Many of us did. I'm not whining, I know I can handle anything life will throw at me. I'm smarter, more skeptical, and less receptive to bull****. Right is right, wrong is wrong, and i'm getting ready to cash in on my dues.
As a pampered product of the early 00's, you shouldn't accuse a senior RJ FO of being a whiner. Chances are that he has been beat down, hardened and learned how to deal with guys like you. You will soon fly with them.
Welcome to a generation who has indeed experienced life.
The thing is hetman was a captain for less than $30/HR, on a b-scale, with a lower guarantee for a long time. he used to commute, then they opened a base where he lived, then they closed said base. He has been around the block many times and has a long background. he has a wife/kids like you. he was hit with insurance increases too over the years.... he even smokes! The beating will continue for all until morale improves....
