Having no other airline to compare it to, I guess I'm not seeing what the huge issue is. PA's? Who cares? If the CA wants to make all the PA's, he's welcome to it.
Engine starts? Turn a stupid rotary switch. Again, who cares who does it, so long as it's done properly.
Other than that, you swap legs and generally have a good time.
The WX thing for landing is changing, from what I heard... it's in the pipeline. Since I'm in a transition class right now, I'll ask them at the schoolhouse and see what I can find.
