Couple of years ago, the FAA changed a test bank ( FOI, I think) basically overnight and the pass rate dropped dramatically to the point that they went back to the old bank until study material for the new bank could be published. And I believe that they allowed those who failed it, to retake it as if it were the first time.
I doubt they would do it again like that.
I have to recommend SheppardAir.
If I remember correctly, they took out the new questions that had wrong answers, more than one correct answer or were too ambiguous.
And the people who failed it got the failure removed from their record if it would have been a pass had questions that were later removed were omitted from their test.
The sucky part was that they were still out $150 per test failed.
