Pre contract CAL 737 was $150 for 12 year captain.
Pre contract UAL 747 was $191 for 12 year captain.
This doesn't include the 16% B-plan for UAL pre contract.
Plus there are drastic QOL differences between being a 747 pilot and a 737 one. No way a 747 pilot can work 18 days a month.
747 jobs are better than 737 jobs. Period.
But don't worry, I have faith a reasonable person will put a reasonable list together that is fair. We are all going to be fine after SLI. Everyone's number is going to change, but that's misleading because both sides bring value and the combined airline has more value than either airline did separately.
