Regardless, Cassidy being a "non-Big Three" as you say still resides as one of the National Officer's. Serving strictly as a mouth piece for the BOD, now that's debatable. Taking up your jaundice view surrounding the current Frag-Policy with Sean would be better served than that on APC.
Some of us remember Bit@@ch Cassidy when he was hawking Odwalla juice in Seattle (no, not perjorative, that was his call sign in the Navy)

On some items I vote my conscience for what I believe to be the common good. Frankly, for most items, I vote based on my hopefully enlightened self interest. The difference between me and many others is that I freely admit that fact.

In my experience, the more that pilots talk about the common good, the more they are actually talking about their good.
