Yes it is. And I just got off the phone with my dad once again and he talked to yet another RJ pilot who put his application in the day he got his multi-engine rating at 270 hours. The RJ airline replied by phone 4 days later and asked him to come in for an interview. With only 15 hours of multiengine time, they hired him that day and put him in the next class. It's absolutely mind boggling to hear this! But the pilot shortage is not taken lightly. They will hire anyone at this point. If you flew Microsoft flight sim and have logged the learjet time, they will hire you.
