However, being an almost-incurable optimist, I hope that Omni (and Atlas also) realize that the constant loss of good people to greener pastures ultimately costs the company a lot more than just training dollars. They loose good folks with a lot of good experience and knowledge.
Well, that said, I've been waiting for 15 years to see that at Atlas, and for the most part, lately that has been happening...more guys are opting to stay here rather than leaving to go elsewhere.

I also wish good things for those in the industry, regardless of current situation. I hope that your life at Atlas is changing for the better. I'm not so sure that a lack of folks "voting with thier feet" is necessarilly a good indicator of the long-term picture. I believe there will be a shakeup at many places when hiring is across the board or at least on a broader spectrum than what we see now. Optomistically speaking, if it gets better at one company it can impart an upward vector to all. Good wishes!
