On- Cleared for takeoff
Off- when climb power set/ unless very bumpy
On- when on approach
Off- when clear of runway

On- anytime I suspect turbulence

I agree that corporate passengers are smarter than the average airline passenger.
They know that anytime the seat beat sign is on during cruise, they better be sitting down. Most of the time, my passengers are busy with their paperwork.
