I've flown both the Lear-35 (5000hr+) and the Encore (1400=). The lear is like flying a sports car and the Encore is like a Chevy. Lear being responsive and quick. You think about changing an altitude and you are already there.

16630#. Latter lears have a EFIS HSI vers encore Primus 1000. Encore is a very simple systems Lear has pullers, shakers, MACH over speed trim, must both yaw damps working and all elect trim systems ETC . Fun to fly but it WILL EAT YOUR LUNCH. The encore is simple and loves to roost at home.
