Here is what I think:

The most senior CAL pilot who was furloughed , those 150 or so..2007 or so seniority I think and the 9/07 UAL new hired pilots and thereafter pilots should get date of hire.

That's the base.

Now the most senior, 98 oct I believe UAL pilot and there after whoa was furloughed should get 2/1 ratio from 98 to 2007 and slide them between the CAL group from 98-2007.... The rest of the group day of hire and let all see where it takes us ...

Example: a 98 Ual pilot will have 9 years(98-2007). now divided by 2 then we have 4.5 years. now add the 2007-13 6years thats 4.5 years plus 6 years is 10.5 years,,,, now subtract 10.5 from 2013 is around mid 2002 that's your new seniority number mr 98 hired united pilot ... Every pilot before oct 98 for both company's date of hired.
Those CAL captain 2006 and before will lose a little but the will keep the left seat for 3 years and they will hold it for sure after 3 year... So they should be happy .

AND everyone gets longevity for pay according what's their new
Seniority year,,, example 98 united pilot will get 11 th year pay of what they fly or hold

With 3 year wide body fences and captain seats for all.
