Its not just intersection taxiways. For determining the actual available runway length, the three distances TORA/TODA/ASDA would have to be known. The published runway distance rarely coincides with TORA/TODA/ASDA due to stop way and clearway lengths. This also applies to landing distance. The runway length and LDA(Landing distance available) are not always equal.

An excellent example of this is RWY 35L/17R in KSDF. The published runway distance is 11890'. However there is a runway extension on the north end of 850' and an extension on the south end of 1040' included in this distance.

Also, as stated on the airport page, normal operations depart both 17R/35L from taxiway B. The extensions have to be requested but are available.

The TORA/TODA/ASDA for 17R from B is 10245'. Using the ext the length is 11095'

The TORA/TODA/ASDA for 35L from taxiway B is 10250'. With the ext the length is 11290'.

The only distance published on our our 10-9A Jeppesen airport page is 10245 for 17R. So if using 35L or 17R at full length there would be no way to tell the available distance without referencing the Airport Analysis data.

For landing distance, the extensions cannot be used. Therefore the published Threshold distance for 35L/17R on the 10-9A airport page is 10000', which is the LDA.

Reference "FAA - Declared Distances Update to Airport Design – AC 150/5300-13A" for an excellent discussion of these distances.
