I can't seem to grasp the FEPP concept.

I am a wide body FO, and the most junior captains in HKG (3558) and EUR (3682) are junior to me. Just like about everyone else in the company, there is an excess in my seat.

I just couldn't ever bring myself to live in HKG, so even though it's more pay, I'm not going to consider bidding it. So, I've considered trying to bid EUR 57C in hopes of getting passover. I guess if I actually had to go, I could live with it (probably just commute).

I've read over applicable sections in the contract and the ALPA FEPP settlement. Unless I've missed something, couldn't almost everyone in the company senior to #3682 bid one of these domiciles as a bid to relieve and hope to receive passover?

Can anyone shed light on this process??? Are people getting passover now??
