I definitely think the annual natops checks I did was tougher than a check ride, but I know a guy who has failed 3 faa checkrides with someone who didn't even have a really bad rep for failures and for that kind of thing I do agree with shyguy... Enjoy your 91 flying, but if you wig out in stress, don't risk others.
Yeah they were mil checks in UPT. Little easier than the criteria for the NATOPS.
Every circumstance is difference, but I do agree with both you and shy.. 3-4 FAA check fails is pretty bad considering the relative ease of the material and how well laid out the curriculum is.
