Default Airlineapps.com/GPA? Especially for Regionals

Airlineapps.com asks for school GPA and states that its important for most airline. Really? Is GPA that important to regionals? I understand that this site is also for Majors but I didn't think GPA would be that important, especially regions.

With that said, is GPA that important for regionals? Would it be a decision factor in deciding to hire???

And yes I ask because my GPA is less than great.

Thanks!

I'd say this, if you have a 4.0 or any GPA you're proud of, then put it. If it's not so stellar, I HIGHLY doubt a regional will pass you for an interview if you leave it out... especially if you have their preferred mins.

What regionals require a degree? Compass maybe.

Compass doesn't require it, but it is something the recruitment department highly prefers. Not sure if they have hired anyone without it in the past year or so.

They also care about GPA, they asked for official transcripts for the interview (at least they did 2.5 years ago). It isn't a make or break factor, but I'd imagine if you have a poor GPA and you are marginal in other areas it could hurt you.

A degree isn't required at Compass or any other regional airline in the United States.

My app didnt show my GPA for some reason and the asked for it specifically to review before offering an interview.

I didn't put my GPA on airline apps and I got interviews and was hired at a regional. I don't think they care if you put it on airline apps. Eagle did ask for transcripts to be brought to the interview though.
