This is probably bc they considered the app incomplete and nothing actually to do with your actual gpa.

If its your first job out of college it may matter beyond that its not worth a damn.

Leave the comair guys out of this. The were already shut down.

In all actuality, yes. I have hired quite a few people in my life, and the best, most productive students were the B and C students because they could prioritize effectively and could make decisions. Some of the worst employees were the straight A students because they had a difficult time sorting things by level of importance and wavered entirely too much when it was time to make a decision. I'll take a B or C student over an A student all day, barring any other information.

Those are my sentiments exactly. Overachievers are not necessarily good team players, effective decision makers, or good followers, all traits which are needed to get the operation moving every day.

"School is a place where former A students teach mostly B students to work for C students."- http://elitedaily.com/news/world/students-run-world/

No offense, but is that any different than a guy who has failed 3 checkrides and flies for the airlines?

Yes, one is in their profession and one isn't.

Ha... I think we all know professional pilots with a low GPA, but I don't know of a pilot who has failed 4 checkrides and is working in the 121 environment.

Any one met any good pilots with 4 checkride failures?
