Added bonuses were a nominal amount of automatic LGA/DCA slots and a skeleton "international" infrastructure, and potentially a better reservations system although that was probably a minor consideration. ATL presence was a nice tertiary add on, but to SWA it was always just a dot on the route map and never a nexus of space time like it was for AT. Oh and also 737's and 737 slots.
