Well if I was a pilot who coughed up cash for a carry-on and both pilots went Tango Uniform because they had the bad fish meal, I guess Spirit management would have to negotiate very quickly with me about my fee to land their airplane.
Everyone knows you're going to land it. Your own life is riding on the line.
Now if you land it in the US and are a hero.... versus in one of the completely sketchy countries they fly to and selling it to the highest bidder on the spot... now thats up to them.
I know a few grass strips that could handle a a320. I would like to see then get out of there
