That's great, military are tough guys. I worked long days in construction before flying and have a side bizz that involves hard manual labor. However, hot long days being uncomfortable flying human lives around isn't in the best interest of safety.
This.. I can understand having a stressful day in the summer while flying with just a student or yourself in the military..... but when you're out there in DCA or CLT and it's 98 degrees, you're single PACK, full boat, and you got an ENG fire on the roll, things get hot as hell and very stressful fast. People smell fire and they start running all over eachother and screaming, you're sitting there trying to get the checklist done..
