In a way it is not much different than what is going on in China or Indonesia, hell even India as far as right seat talent. How many of those operations do not even allow the FO to take off or land? While not ideal, I would much rather have a young (20 or so year old) FO here in the states that has his 1500 hours and been through the same training we all get, compared to a 28 year old over in China that does not speak English nor have the take off and landing experience to fall back on in case that crap really did hit the fan.
