No I don't mean 65. Maybe they'll start going younger and younger.
I mean, if someone can pass a medical, who are we to say that they shouldn't be able to have their job in the front of an airliner. I personally support no age requirement whatsoever. If a 14 yearold wants to do it, they should be able to do it.

Pretty impressive to have a 14 year old playing in the Masters too - but he ISN'T the norm!

Sounds wonderful. Passed with flying colors! If I can steal a line, allow me to pour an icy cold bucket of aeronautical reality over your head: The rare but serious occasion that the PIC becomes incapacitated? Now add in a line of weather, or widespread strong winds or blowing snowstorm, or low fuel, and Jet Johhny solo at the helm?

While not many, but this chap is not the first one under 20 I've had on my jet during my tenure with FR. There are a couple of 19 year olds at my current carrier as well.
