I just saw the Flight Attendants are petitioning the NMB now. Get used to status quo pilot boys and girls. Fly the contract that Kasher helped negotiate. Let's see how many pilots with short memories we have here.

I'm right there with you! Pay rate only, I'm voting no for anything less than 15% plain and simple. With almost 14% ROIC, the highest in the industry, they can afford to pay us every bit of DAL and SWA.

The company is counting on us to be the good little boys and girls and continue to fly extra. If you really want a contract worth living with for the next 5+ years then suck it up and fly what is required. We can put pressure on them without doing something construed as illegal. These are the same people that gave us the butthurt that Kasher awarded them. Remember that!
From MEC news letter:
Talks broke down yesterday evening over compensation. Management’s current position on wages would create an increasing gap between us and our peers over the duration of the contract. This does not reflect your contribution to our Company’s history of record profits and sustained financial success.
Management is scheduled to participate in Alaska Air Group’s Board of Directors meeting for the rest of this week. There are no further meetings scheduled with their Negotiating Team.

Imagine that...the company doesn't want to give this pilot group a "fair" pay raise.
You mean the same management group that took EVERYTHING that Kasher awarded and even argued (and won) that the colon is actually a period in the vacation pay value -- 3:50 vs. 3.50. Never forget, folks!!!

Richard (Dick) Kasher was the arbitrator who gutted every pilots paycheck by $40k per year as well as just about every QOL contractual benefit we've ever negotiated. He was just the tool that was used to grant the company nearly everything they had asked for.
