Looks like Skywest is starting Crj and Brasilia classes July 8 so it looks like the greasing of the skids has begun for the introduction of the e 175 to the certificate. Anyone hear any speculation on how soon they'll be intruducing 175 transition bids to the schedules? It would seem it would have to be at least a few months prior to first delivery of equipment but also a not easy to perform transition.
Our most recent official statement has said the first 175s will be on property in April and start flying in June. There probably won't be transition bids until the end of winter. It's actually kind of interesting that they're running a new hire class right now because those pilots will come online around September just in time for the slow season.
