ATP will have an effect, but perhaps not dramatic. This last hiring wave came off of over 2 years of relatively stagnant airline hiring. By the nature of things applicants would have higher minimums. When all of these high time applicants are pulled from the pool, the airlines cant reduce their minimums like they have done in the past to accommodate demand.
