I spent my whole first year on the bro on reserve and never broke guarantee. There were people ahead of me who got a line right out of training but it really depends on how things are moving. You probably won't be on reserve as long as I was but you should still budget for it just in case. I got a line right at my year mark on the bro and would have been on reserve in any RJ base though so it was still a good move.
