I've noticed that too. One exception comes to mind though... A few months ago a lost student pilot with a dying electrical system was transmitting on 121.5 for assistance. I kid you not, some idiot kept cutting him off saying "You're on Guard!" I finally couldn't take it anymore, told guard cop to ****, and put the student in touch with a controller. This was somewhere near BFL.

Some of our fellow pilots really are morons.
