First; I don't remember specifically saying "see ya" . However, if the freq is not too busy, I usually check in and leave the freq with some kind of short pleasantry. What's with the objection to "see ya"? Is it any different than "so long", "good night" or "Merry Christmas"? I think not. We‘re all humans, not robots. If it doesn't interfere with necessary communications, what's the problem?
(btw; I'm straying a bit from the thread as i am not talking about the guard freq.....someone else brought it up)
