Hello to all future Virgin America reserve holders. What Shyguy said about reserve is pretty much spot on. I sit short call reserve in SFO and for me, it isn't to bad. I live only about an hour from base and have rarely been called out to fly with the two hour minimum notice. I believe LCR notice is now going to 14hr. 75 hour monthly guarantee. 11-12 days off per month. The most days you will get off in a row is four unless you can deal/swap/trade with another reserve guy/gal. I have NEVER broken guarantee but July might be the first time I actually get close. Overall, I can say reserve is not to difficult to manage but I have to believe that my relative location to SFO is a big factor. If you guys/gals have any questions you can PM me.
