Rickair mentioned that ICAO minimums includes 1200 PIC. But if you get hired at a regional with 1200TT or less, you will not get 1200PIC until you upgrade. Is there some rule where a certain amount of SIC can count towards PIC, or do guys with less than 1200TT when hired have to go rent a 152??
You need a certain amount of REAL PIC time, several hundred hours maybe (you have to rent the 152 for this). Once you meet that requirement you can get two-for-one credit for your 121 SIC time towards the 1200 PIC requirement. So you do not have to buy 1000+ hours of 152 time. Actually thet would be kind of funny if they did
