The arbitration from AA closing the STL base due to BK.
It's out.
In a nutshell:
- protected CA positions on seat/equipment thru 2019 on NBs and SWBs (MD80s and 75/76 Domestic.) When the MD80s get retired the protected positions go to the replacement aircraft (Airbii.)
- bases to be chosen by AA
- all other bidding done by system seniority (vacation, bidding, etc.)
- opportunity to bid to 777, but this would count towards total NB CA protections
- in the case that there is insufficient 75/76 domestic flying available, the chance to bid protected 75/76 Intl
- the NB fence comes down when a certain named ex TWA pilot has sufficient seniority to upgrade to CA, all the way down to a Group 1 aircraft.
That's what I got out of it.
Edited: when the named ex TWA pilot upgrades to CA on any aircraft starting at Group 1, the **NB FENCE** is what comes down, not the entire thing.
