He explained why he was fatigued in accordance with the FOM and FAA guidance and the company did what?
Management could be in for serious trouble if pilots are intimidated to flying unfit for duty. Circumstances beyond pilot control can cause improper rest, and I am sure the company will work hard to mitigate any problems they can control. This is probably the reason for a MEM visit - fact gathering to work mitigation.
