About 7 and a half blocks east of the hotel is the Blue Note Jazz Club which has some good jazz at night, and a block north of there is a pretty good British Pub. The castle tour was made especially fun since we had 3 college kids ask to give us a tour so they could practice their english on us. Evidently, a couple of the local colleges encourage the students to do this on the weekend. All in all, a nice change of pace from Narita and Osaka.
