Sorry for the delay, but apparently there has been some improvement to the day/night flip-flopping however still a ways to go on that. The company has realized this is a problem for people leaving and are allegedly working on pilot retention plans as well a recruiting quality candidates.

If you live in HNL the likelihood of getting a layover is the same as anyone else. With that being said they are/have been working at some sort of quasi-basing in HNL. However, it doesn't appear to be very popular even with the pilots who live in HNL.

FOs work a little harder flying 60-ish hours per month and the CAs perhaps a bit less but with plenty of CA-CA flying since its about a 2-1 ratio. With the way things have been going FOs should have the opportunity within their first contract.

ANA has plans to grow AJX. But given the 7.5 - 8 month training cycle it has been difficult to grow the airline when they can hardly keep up with attrition.
