Because a majority of us choose to base our opinions off of emotionally-charged, knee-jerk, reactionary information purported from politically-charged , radically-biased news/media outlets. It's amazing to me that with the volume of information readily available at our fingertips over the World Wide Web, for all intensive purposes, people seem more ignorant and intolerant than ever.
I call it fast food news/information/media. It's all cheap and readily available. It's all very slick and cleverly marketed/packaged/sold. Its has tons of bad for you artifical crap trown in to male it easiky consumable. It's also all to easy for people to intake/digest because it satisfies they're wants/cravings and doesn't make them have to think very hard.

I prefer to think of myself as a political agnostic. I'd actually have to see government ACTUALLY show up and function before I could believe in any one party.
