If a LUAL Vol Fur is senior to me on "The List" (which I expect...) and they are currently flying 756 EWR FO.. (where they are currently junior to me), how long would/will it take to do what this ''union dolt'' said?!
Not that I want to see this hypothetical guy be able to bid better than me.. but once we have a list, and he is senior.. how does he not utilize his seniority and bidding power?!

It was a time crunched conversation so didn't get too deep into legalities. I agree with calling it a rumor, but I think the UAL furloughs should be asking hard questions now. Essentially it was made out to sound like there would be a 1-2 month adjustment process based on the availability of the new bid.
Given the incompetency of man power planning, I lack faith in that plan. Obviously little can be done about Sept, but I consider it completely unacceptable to not allow the ISL to determine October bidding. And yes in my BES there are a significant number of vol UAL furloughs in my base that will go in front of me. I believe in doing what's right.
