This is correct contractually. But as we've seen thus far being correct with what the contract says does not mean that the company will actually follow it. ALPA of course will offer reassurance that the JIT team is aware of the problem and will work hard to find a solution.

I don't claim to know how this will shake out, but I feel confident in saying that the current manpower planning folks lack both the mental and physical tools necessary to allow successful application of this contract post ISL. Lucky for them our management couldn't care less...
I think that the management team is fine, they are making a profit and that is all that counts.
