There's always lots of advice from guys who haven't been on the job market for years. It's a totally different ballgame now. You can't just recommend people 'go work' somewhere, because there really aren't any jobs.
There aren't any jobs? Thee are a lot of jobs, and one needn't look very hard.
The industry has changed dramatically in the last year? There's been a sudden decrease in the number of available jobs? Entirely untrue.
The jobs are there, and have always been there.
