The jury is still out.
Personally, I think Parker is leaving money on the table when it comes to pilots like you. I'll bet he could not only hook you for $45,000/years as maximum compensation, you'd be on this forum rationalizing the imbecilic to the rest of us if he did.
That is of course assuming you're not a management stooge specifically here to blow smoke up the gullible and uninformeds arses. ;-)
Is it just me or isn't he the only one here defending this thing, I like the argument about guys that "could" upgrade if the happen to be growth airframes. Or the senior guys saving their 100k a year job. If they allow this TA to happen and bring a 12 year pay scale by 2016 they will be working under the 12 year scale even if they are currently 18. People need to not only become familiar with their contracts but hose around them and there are many contracts out there that will be influence by this TA if it is to pass and shortly management will come back as the 200 are parked asking for more.
Passing this TA is allowing the race to the bottom to continue, this is modifying a scale for certain pilots that will lead everyone on property being under the same scale.
Management already told Eagle they will be back, it will happen sometime after Mesa, and guess what PSA will get another bite at the apple, it's a chain that has to be broken.
