Thai Airways blacks out logos after accident - CNN.com

We talked about 'cirsis communication' directives in another thread some time ago.

This idea seems like it might have worked in a different time - but now it looks.....well........bad in my opinion.
Blacking out the logo isn't fooling anyone and it makes it look like the company is trying to HIDE something. It isn't like there is a chance of actually hiding the identity of the airline/comapny involved.

I do disclose though that I'm not a guy with a degree in public relations or mass media/communications, so maybe this is what the think tanks/brain trusts think actually works!
