ps,, you gotta watch the side loads on those md 11... apparently they cant handle it!!
FDX has had it's share of problems and FO landing ability was a factor in one of them that I know of. The MD11 is a handfull trust me, you're right it doesn't take sideloads well at all. That's why we like to hire guys with experience. Imagine if we started hiring 200 hour FOs; do you think that the landing incidents would go up or down?

I say way up.
